Trustfolio, the ‘debt-tech’ collective behind theDebt Adviser Support Portal now being used by more than 900 debt advisers from 170 different advice organisations, will be exhibiting at both the Institute of Money Advisers (IMA) Conference on 5 September 2022 and the Community Money Advice (CMA) 25th Anniversary Envision Conference on 7-8 October 2022.

The Debt Adviser Support Portal, which has been used by advisers to gain instant access to client credit reports from multiple Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs) for several years, now also utilises Open Banking technology from Equifax to give advisers income & expenditure-friendly client bank statement data. This saves debt advisers significant amounts of time and money by removing the administrative burden of collecting this information and flexibly providing a fuller picture of clients’ circumstances. Another new feature which will allow advisers to easily refer clients to a panel of selected debt solutions provider firms will launch soon.

Ryan Hayes, former manager of Shelter's Specialist Debt Advice Service and current Advice Sector COO at Trustfolio, will be giving live demonstrations of the Debt Adviser Support Portal’s new features at both conferences. He says:
“Our debt adviser users are already benefiting from the client bank statement data feature which they’re currently trialling and we’re looking forward to showing others what the Portal is now capable of at these two flagship industry conferences. Unlike many other digital tools designed for budgeting and debt management, our ‘debt-tech’ solutions are designed to be used by expert professionals working in the sector to enhance the support they give to consumers-in-debt even if they themselves are digitally excluded or suffering from a mental health or other issue which makes obtaining information about their circumstances difficult.”

The IMA Conference will be a virtual event with Trustfolio being part of the innovative virtual exhibition. The CMA 25th Anniversary Envision Conference will take place at The Barnabas Church Centre, Longden Coleham, Shrewsbury with video footage available for those unable to attend.
