Trustfolio Ltd, the debt-tech™ collective behind the new Creditor Debt Solutions Platform now being adopted by Local Authorities and the well-established Debt Adviser Support Portal, backed by AdviceUK, has released episode 5 of its new podcast exploring how digitisation is changing the consumer debt sector.

The fifth episode, available now, features special guest Kevin Still, lead consultant at Kevin Still Consultants, also of VRS and DEMSA. Kevin is well known to many of our listeners and has an enviable wealth of knowledge in the industry.

Podcast co-host Trustfolio’s Lee Usher, who has worked across the credit and debt advice landscape for both private sector companies and Government, says:
“We’d booked Kevin to speak a few weeks ago and it was great to finally get him on the record and give us his views on subjects including the projected increase in demand for debt advice over the next year or two. Kevin really knows his onions and gave us his thoughts on how consumer duty will impact standards in debt advice, be the advice free to use or commercial. We’d love to hear people’s views on these subjects, especially after the MaPS announcement on funding which was made after this podcast was recorded.”

Co-host Trustfolio’s Peter Wallwork, former Chief Executive of Credit Services Association (CSA), the UK trade body for the debt collection sector, adds:
“It’s always impressive to listen to Kevin talk – he’s the go-to for information in our industry and the author of the DEMSA digest of what’s been happening in the week, which is emailed out to subscribers every Saturday and is always on the top of my reading list over the weekend. It appears he knows quite a bit about Rugby League too and helped us iron out which is the most interesting or aggressive – League or Union..?!”

Each episode of the Trustfolio debt-tech podcast, which has previously featured Craig Simmons of Money & Pensions Service, James Jones of Experian, Steve Coppard of Arum and most recently our very own CEO, Lou Yates gives professionals working in the credit, collections, advice, enforcement, and other related sectors, the opportunity to hear industry influencers discuss and debate the pros and cons of utilising the latest fintech to support consumers-in-debt.
