Trustfolio Ltd, the debt-tech™ collective behind the new Creditor Debt Solutions Platform now being adopted by Local Authorities and the well-established AdviceUK-backed Debt Adviser Support Portal, has released episode 2 of its new podcast exploring how digitisation is changing the consumer debt sector.

The second episode, out now, is hosted by Trustfolio’s Creditor Services Director Lee Usher and Non-Executive Director Peter Wallwork, who are joined by expert guest James Jones, Head of Consumer Affairs at Experian and a Board Director and Trustee of some leading debt sector organisations.

Host Lee Usher, who has worked across the credit and debt advice landscape for both private sector companies and Government, says:
“The first episode of our new podcast with Craig Simmons of Money & Pensions Service went down really well, despite the fact it was recorded at a conference with a lot of background noise! We’ve got a great line-up of guests already secured for the next few months and James didn’t disappoint. As he says, his role in educating the public about credit and credit scores is probably one of the most misunderstood areas of personal finance and it was great to get his take on some current pressing matters facing those in financial difficulty and the people working in the sector to support them.”

Co-host Peter Wallwork, former Chief Executive of Credit Services Association (CSA), the UK trade body for the debt collection sector, adds:
“True to his reputation, James was a great podcast guest who answered some difficult questions about topical issues like the Statutory Debt Repayment Plan (SDRP) and debt advice commissioning and funding. We hope people enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it.”

Each bitesize (15-20 minutes) episode of the Trustfolio debt-tech podcast will give professionals working in the credit, money advice, collections, enforcement, and related sectors, the opportunity to hear industry influencers discuss and debate the pros and cons of utilising the latest fintech to support consumers-in-debt.
