Trustfolio Ltd, the debt-tech™ collective behind the Creditor Debt Solutions Platform now being adopted by Local Authorities, Financial Services Creditors and the well-established Debt Adviser Support Portal, backed by AdviceUK, has released episode 14 of its Debt-Tech series of podcasts exploring how digitisation is changing the consumer debt sector.

The fourteenth episode features the former CEO of the Money and Pension Service, an organisation whose statutory objective is to develop and co-ordinate a national strategy to improve people's financial capabilities. Caroline stepped down from the role in January 2024 and has since joined the FCA's Consumer Panel. Caroline has had an impressive career in the debt advice sector spanning many years and is a very well-known face in the industry.

Podcast co-host Trustfolio’s Lee Usher, who has worked across the credit and debt advice landscape for both private sector companies and Government, says:
"I've known and worked with Caroline over many years, and I'm delighted that we managed to persuade her to join us on this podcast. I was really impressed with the way Caroline answered the questions we put to her, including one she didn't expect from us relating to the upcoming general election..."

Co-host Trustfolio’s Peter Wallwork, former Chief Executive of Credit Services Association (CSA), the UK trade body for the debt collection sector, adds:
"It was really great to interview Caroline and listen to what she felt she’d achieved in her time as CEO of MaPS, and also reminisce about the work we did to try and change the way funding for free debt advice worked. Even though we didn't manage to change the world then, it was interesting to understand a bit more about why we didn't at the time.."

Each episode of the Trustfolio debt-tech podcast, which most recently featured Chris Leslie, CEO of the CSA, gives professionals working in the credit, collections, advice, enforcement, and other related sectors, the opportunity to hear industry influencers discuss and debate the pros and cons of utilising the latest fintech to support consumers-in-debt
