Trustfolio and TIP Tech Secure Certification to ISO 27001:2022, the International Standard for Information Security Management
3 June 2025
Trustfolio Ltd and TIP Tech Ltd are pleased to announce that they have successfully transitioned their Information Security Management System (ISMS) from the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard to the latest ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.
This transition reflects Trustfolio’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security, data protection and operational resilience for its customers and partners.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally recognised framework for managing information security. The 2022 update reflects the rapidly evolving digital landscape, placing increased emphasis on modern security risks such as cloud services, supply chain security, threat intelligence, and secure development practices.
As a SaaS provider working with sensitive customer data, maintaining a robust and continually improving security framework is fundamental to Trustfolio’s operations. The transition to the updated 2022 standard ensures that the company’s security controls, risk management processes and governance structures remain aligned with current best practice.
Lou Yates, Founder and CEO of Trustfolio, commented:
“Security and trust sit at the heart of our platforms. Transitioning to ISO 27001:2022 demonstrates our commitment not only to maintaining strong information security controls, but also to continually improving them as technology and threats evolve. Our customers rely on us to handle their data securely, and this transition provides further assurance that our systems, processes and governance meet the latest international standards.”
The updated standard introduces several new and revised security controls designed to address emerging risks and modern operating environments. These include enhanced focus on areas such as cloud security, data protection, secure coding practices and improved monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities.
For Trustfolio and TIP Tech's customers, the transition provides continued confidence that:
• Information security risks are actively identified and managed
• Robust controls protect sensitive and confidential data
• Security practices are independently audited and verified
• The organisation is committed to continuous improvement in information security
Importantly, the transition also reinforces Trustfolio’s wider governance and compliance framework, supporting regulatory expectations and ensuring that customers can rely on a secure and resilient platform.
Trustfolio and TIP Tech will continue to review and strengthen their information security practices as part of their ongoing ISO-certified management system, ensuring that security remains embedded across its technology, processes and people.
